Another good way to get a four-socket Monarch is by playing on Hell difficulty. You can go to the Mausoleum or Catacombs in Hell, and you should be able to find at least a few monarchs there. Most of the time, you will have to fight enemies without elites, which makes it easier for you to farm one. Regardless of your method, it is important to make sure that you are farming on the highest possible level of strength, and that you are acquiring the sockets on the correct armors.
