Royal Doulton Pretty Women HN1-100

This was Royal Doulton’s first line of figurines and was also sometimes known as the ‘Fair Ladies’. Wherever possible, I have included the figurine’s name, model number, designer’s name, and year of production. Please note that these beautiful ladies are some of the rarest and most difficult to find real Doulton ladies you will come across and if you are lucky enough to find one of these at auction or a flea market somewhere then , OMG! You must bid/buy/haggle do whatever it takes to get it because these extremely rare Royal Doulton collectible figurines don’t show up very often.

The other option for finding these rare ceramic figurines is of course the auction house, but many of these hard to find Royal Doulton figurines will not be available at auction because they are truly very rare. Don’t be put off trying though, and if you become familiar with these and later editions, auction houses often reveal valuable alternative models as well. You can find Royal Doulton online auctions on eBay, where auction listings are updated hourly, so they can change at any time, meaning if you don’t see a treasure right away, try again later. But it’s always better (and cheaper) to try to find them ‘offline’ at car boot sales or sundry sales or even chair stores.

Please find below the list of Royal Doulton ‘Pretty Ladies’ from early 1913-1938 along with their associated details. Any of these would sell for a figure with lots of zeros at auction, so keep your eyes peeled!

Many of these figurines have since been remade in subsequent editions, so when looking for your figurines be sure to always check the HN number and see which ‘edition’ of a particular model you have. You can see which HN model numbers refer to which years (and this usually correlates directly to value) on the website at the bottom of this free guide.
