Where in the world is Osama Bin Laden?

The documentary comes from the same guy who brought us Super Size Me. Now, Morgan Spurlock, hoping to become a father for the first time, uses his documentary style to ask what kind of world he’s bringing a child into. Spurlock, ignoring much advice about not traveling in the Middle East, does so to ask around and try to find out where in the world Osama Bin Laden is.

Traveling through many countries including Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Spurlock interviews everyone from radical extremists to government leaders. An interesting point to see when watching this movie was that almost most of the people Spurlock spoke to rated Osama as a “ridiculous Muslim”, another question I thought was interesting is what effect it would have if Osama were caught, the conclusion . came after seeing this movie was the same as spurlock and that was nothing at all. The same problems would continue to exist, and so Spurlock decides to end his journey early.

There is interesting material in this documentary and although it is a bit stripped down it is still interesting to watch and follow, while the goofy animations put me off a bit the documentary itself was worth watching. If you liked the style of Super Size, I’ll like this movie. Mytvtalk awards Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden 3 and a half stars out of 5.
