I mentioned in one of my previous posts that I was going to try a new derma roller brand called ZGTS Titanium. Well, I ordered it. And it came. And I’ve been using it a couple of times, so now I can give you my first impressions.

Packaging: The first thing you notice about the ZGTS roller is that it is very well packaged. It comes in a sturdy plastic box with a kind of foamed plastic inside with a hole in which the roller handle is held tightly and cannot be tucked inside. There is still an additional barrier that prevents the needles from touching anything, in the form of a transparent plastic cylindrical cap, which, once closed, keeps the roller head in its center, again protecting the needles.

Anyway, as you can probably see, I like the packaging. In my opinion, it is even better than Dr. Roller, who tends to let the roller move inside the box.

Sort out: No real problem here, it is nicely curved and quite comfortable to hold, BUT, I must say, by now I have gotten used to the Dr. Roller handle, which allows you to safely place your index finger close to the drum. of needles, and gives you more control over the pressure with which you move.

Needles: This is supposed to be the big problem with this roller: its needles are made of titanium alloy, which is lightweight and obviously very strong. This supposedly makes the roller last longer than any other, and while it’s too early to tell if it does, it’s pretty safe to assume that it actually does.

But again there is a “but”, because possibly due to the nature of titanium, the needles are not as fine as on other rollers I have used. Even at the 0.5mm length I ordered, it felt more like 1.0mm on my skin, making it less suitable for sensitive areas like the face in my opinion.

However, for the meatier parts of the body (butt, thighs, hips, back) this roller would be ideal (even at the 1.0mm length I suspect).

Bottom line: While the ZGTS Titanium is a decent trainer, with a good quality build, it is best used only on parts of the body where the skin is thick. With its titanium needles, it is made to last a long time, and considering its price (which is considerably cheaper than most rollers) it makes for a very inexpensive derma roller.

Verdict: 3/5 stars.
