You can enjoy the Grand Canyon from either the south or the north, as it covers almost 277 miles of the famous Colorado River. The visitor center at the Grand Canyon offers various videos, rangers and lectures to help you gauge the National Park and also offers a ride on the Bright Angel Trail which takes you to the bottom of the canyon almost 9 miles down. 2. Hoover Dam: The Hoover Dam is considered one of the greatest constructions of the 20th century. This Black Canyon was built in 1930 under the direction of the 31st President of the United States, Herbert Hoover, and bears his name. It is also reflected as a National Historic Landmark as it is the tallest concrete dam in the entire Northern Hemisphere standing upright at an elevation of 725 feet above the Colorado River. You can also get a full look at the dam’s mechanical components by taking an elevator ride 500 feet down into the black canyon and as you walk through the 250-foot borehole tunnel. The entire tour takes around two to three hours and is worth every penny spent.

3. Death Valley National Parks: This wonder is located in California and is about 216 kilometers from Las Vegas. The essence of this place is Badwater which is 282 feet below sea level and is the hottest place in America crossing the temperature of 120®F.
