Holidays in Maldives: the magic of Meeru Island

Tourists approaching Meeru Island in the Maldives can be forgiven for thinking they are headed to one of the hundreds of uninhabited atolls in the region, a place untouched by mankind.

However, this is not the case.

For Meeru Island, or Meerufenfushi Island to give it its proper name, is an island resort that has a lot to offer a traveler looking for a Maldives vacation experience that is geared predominantly toward unadulterated fun and relaxation.

CD player, hairdryer, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, beach towels, complimentary toiletries, nightly turndown service, and a private terrace secluded from the water’s edge.

For those who visit Meeru Island with romantic inclinations, a small tropical garden and a large balcony offering stunning views of the island add considerably to the alluring appeal. Tea roomof theendurance however, it is the Jacuzzi for two that has to be the ultimate wet dream for honeymooners and couples in love.
