How can I reduce my genital herpes attacks?

My husband infected me with genital herpes ten years ago. Since we broke up, I’ve been experiencing monthly herpes outbreaks lately. What can I do to help reduce these incidents?

Answer:

Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) and there is no denying that this condition has damaged relationships and destroyed peace of mind for many. The symptoms themselves can be distressing. In men, the small, fluid-filled blisters are found mainly on or around the head of the penis and the foreskin; in women they are found around the vagina and occasionally as far as the cervix and uterus.
