Ugly ducklings are very cute, but they are not available in Farmville. They cannot be bought on the market. To acquire an ugly duckling, you need to adopt one of your Farmville neighbors or your Facebook farmer friends.
Step 1; Get More Farmville Neighbors:
Get more neighbors to increase the chances of adopting a duck. For more Farmville Neighbors, invite all your Facebook friends to become your Farmville Neighbors, join Farmville Groups, visit the Farmville Forums, and add the “ADD ME” comment to posts on the Official Fan Page From Facebook.
Step 2; Check out Facebook News Feeds:
Browse through your Facebook news feeds to see if one of your Farmville neighbors or Facebook friends has offered up an ugly duckling for adoption. Find a picture of an ugly duckling. If the image is published in the news, it means that one of his neighbors has found an ugly duckling on his farm and has put it up for adoption.
Step 3; Adopt your neighbor’s duck:
Look for the post that says “Adopt the ugly duckling.” Click on the link below the post and you will be redirected to Farmville. If you are one of the first players to click the “Adopt” icon, you will own the duck.
Stage 4; Login to Farmville:
When you log in to Farmville, your ugly duck will be waiting for you in your gift box.
Step 5; Leave the duck in its gift box:
Leaving your duck in its gift box for a short time offers other Farmville residents the chance to adopt an ugly duckling of their own. Leave the duck in the gift box for at least a few hours, or better yet, a whole day, this way more Farmville friends will have the chance to adopt a duck. You might want to send a notification to one of your nearby neighbors if you know they’ve been looking for a duck of their own.
Step 6; Place your duck:
You can place your duck anywhere on your farm you like. An excellent location may be near your pond.
