Nokia E55 Vs Nokia E75 – The battle between two brothers

As we compare mobile phones, we will see which is the best and to what extent one is better than another. Let’s see how far we can go when analyzing the features. To the best of my knowledge and observation, both phones are on par. It is really difficult to praise just one, but we can try to distinguish the minor and major differences between these phones that distinguish them from each other.

Both phones have the same 2.4-inch QVGA screen that supports 16 million colors and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. But there is a little difference between the dimensions, like the E55 measuring 116.5 x 49 x 9.9mm and weighing only 96 grams, while the E75 is a bit bulky with a 111.8 x 50 x 14 case, 4 mm with full QWERTY slide-out keyboard and a weight of 139 grams

In terms of taking instant experience, I found that both phones have 3.2 MP camera which integrates so many good features but there are some differences between the features like E75 has 8x digital zoom while E55 has 4 x Digital zoom and EDOF camera.

E55 and E75, both widgets are blessed with great music features like music player, MP3, video ringtones, Nokia AV 3.5mm jack, audio recorder, voice recorder, voice commands and FM radio with RDS. The only difference is that the E55 has streaming audio, shuffle, repeat, equalizer, music search, etc., while the E75 has Internet radio, Nokia Music Manager and Nokia Podcasting Support.

Along with several essential features, these have the same connectivity features like; 3G HSDPA, wired USB connection, Bluetooth® wireless connection, Wi-Fi WLAN, HSCSD, GPRS and EDGE technology.

As you can get up to 280 hours (2G)/264 hours (3G) of standby time, talk time up to 5 hours and 20 minutes (2G)/4 hours and 12 minutes (3G) and music playback up to 25 hours on a single charge via E75, while the E55 adds approximately 672h (2G) / 432h (3G), talk time up to 8h (2G) / 6h (3G) and music playback up to 18h.

In addition, the phones incorporate the same Internet functionality, such as Nokia Browser with HTML, XHTML, MP, WML and CSS mini-maps and Nokia mobile search.

It doesn’t matter which phone you choose as they are related to the same family and contain many similar features like email, GPS support, speakerphone, phonebook, Symbian 9.3 OS etc.
