In the zodiac realm, there are four ethnic groups of people: the people of the earth, the people of the air, the people of the water, and the people of the fire. Long ago it was decided that each of them should elect a king and the four kings would represent their ethnic groups as members of the High Council. For all the Zodiac people, the High Council would decide what was best for them. The people of the Zodiac approved of letting the beloved royals make a decision for themselves, who would become kings and who would not.
Earth People are down-to-earth and diligent people who care for each other in a fairly reasonable way. They work tirelessly to make sure their loved ones get the rations, clothing, housing, and money they need to live a sensibly carefree life. They accept as true that God helps those who help themselves. They would rather teach a hungry man to fish and hunt than just give him a free meal. They generally don’t like sticking their noses into other people’s business and don’t like being told what to do by others.
When Capricorn learned that a king would be selected from the People of the Earth, he thought that the selection should be made quickly and rationally. He set off to meet the other two Earth royalty so that they could collectively work out which one of them is supposed to represent the Earth People ethnic group.
Capricorn soon ran into his Virgo brother working hard. “Hello brother! You know? Each ethnic group is choosing a king to represent them in the High Council. I considered that we would go together to meet Taurus and between us, we would decide which one of us is supposed to be the leader of the people of the earth”. To this, Virgo replied, “Actually, I’m pretty busy right now and I have a lot of work to do. People want me to be here to help manage work crews and ensure things get completed correctly. You go ahead and talk.” with Taurus and find out what he feels. I have confidence in you to make a decision without my presence”. After shaking hands, Capricorn went to find Taurus.
It didn’t take long to locate Taurus. He was lounging happily in a flower meadow with a half-eaten picnic basket beside him. Capricorn asked his Taurus brother what he thought about being King of the People of the Earth. Taurus pondered this for quite some time before replying, “You see, I love the people of my ethnic group and I do my best to help and care for them. But I also enjoy my free time. I think I would be unhappy if I had to travel all the time.” to and from conferences and you are aware how slow I can be to accept new ideas. I suppose I would make an excellent King, but I don’t assume I would like the politics of becoming a member of the High Council. So why don’t you carry this out? You are an instinctive leader in any case and have certainly worked vigorously and obtained the title. I depend on you to represent us with honor and nobility.”
Capricorn was more than eager to match his brothers. He had secretly wished for both of them to say the same thing they had said, as he truly wished to have the honor of becoming King of the People of the Land. Nothing would be more enjoyable for him than to be able to work for his people in such an important role. While he went to the High Council meeting to meet the other kings, he reflected and practiced with himself so that when he was officially crowned king, he would not make a fool of himself by showing himself unworthy of such nobility.
Air People are socially satisfied people who like to laugh. They are thinkers who like to convey both important and trivial thoughts. They prefer to make a living with their minds rather than do manual labor. It is not due to his laziness; they just have so many things going on inside their heads that are about to emerge. They live in a world of dreams, principles and mental power. They are very happy to present their views to someone who is not quite sure what to think about a particular situation. They are so eager to communicate their thoughts that from time to time they cannot hold their tongues. However, their hearts are in the right place and they mean well. They live according to the principle “live and let live”, although sometimes they are too prejudiced.
As soon as Libra received the information that someone would be elected King of the People of the Air, he was torn between two thoughts. She would like to be the King but she also wanted to be impartial and allow others to make a contribution on the matter. Consequently, he hastened to seek out his brothers to learn his views.
Libra found her Gemini sister and Aquarius brother smiling and joking with humor. She asked, “Which one of us should become King of the People of the Air?” Her Aquarius brother drew attention to the fact that he was an excellent team player and therefore should be the King of the People of the Air. Gemini claimed that she was a better diplomat and consequently will be crowned King of the People of the Air. The two began to debate seriously. Libra found himself in the role of referee. She sized them both up and she didn’t like to see them fight. After a full day of arbitrating their disputes and helping them perceive that they each had a justifiable point, she was abruptly able to find her own role in things. She indicated to her brothers that she should become king, as she is the most capable of seeing both sides of a dispute and helping people unite through arbitration and justice. She also mentioned that others may be upset by Aquarius’s non-conformist and unconventional views and Gemini’s changing attitudes. “The other people may just not be connected to any of you.” Both of them competed that they are very often misunderstood by other people and that it is better to choose Libra as their representative before the High Council.
Though she thought she was best suited for the role of King of the People of the Air, she was anxious and unsure of her fitness to lead. She hoped that she would be allowed to have one of her brothers with her so that they could co-rule over the Air People, but they both assured her that if she ever could use their advice or her services, all she needed. was to do was to ask. With her assurances firmly in her heart, Libra headed out to see the other kings at the High Council’s initial assembly.
Water people are perceptive, emotional, instinctive, and therefore quite temperamental. They are comfortable with mood swings and do not need life to be cheerful and sunshine all the time. Many of them possess mystical gifts and are able to “read” each other without the need for verbal communication. They realize how things work because they are able to “feel” when something is true or false. They have faith in their instincts and anticipate that others will appreciate their feelings in any particular situation. They are quick to help people in need and pride themselves on being understanding, kind, and deeply sensual.
When Cancer learned that it was time to choose the King of the Water People, he began to fret. Which of them was best suited for the job? He acknowledged that of course he was caring and loving her, but people often got angry with her for bossing them around and telling them what to do. It wasn’t her fault that people usually couldn’t take care of themselves and required someone to take care of them. However, someone must lead them and she just wasn’t sure who. She arranged a meeting with her Scorpio brother and her Pisces sister.
Scorpio immediately took control of the situation. “I am the Fit King of the People of the Water. I am powerful, and others already consider me a great fighter.” Pisces secretly hated him for being so haughty, but she didn’t say anything. In her place, she intertwined “mystery” and “secrets” on all sides of him so that she would always have to search for the truth and speculate who she could trust. She smiled to herself acknowledging that his magical spell would force him to remain modest at all times. He could never be very influential and cocky if he was never very sure who he could and couldn’t trust.
Cancer thought she was more motherly and consequently more concerned with the welfare of the People of the Water, but she also recognized that Scorpio was more capable of fighting for their needs. She decided to stay and see to the wishes of the People of the Water. She would tell him every day exactly what the People of the Water wanted and what he could do about it. Scorpio simply rolled his eyes and allowed her to consider that he really did need her advice. She then went to seek her place among the Kings of the Zodiac. The High Council could not begin by excluding him.
Fire People are fiery, wild and fearless. They tire easily of something and have to perceive that life is more than just work, school and housework. They like to compete, challenge and motivate others. They are always familiar, animated and eager for something additional to the melancholy of daily life. They have faith in statements like: “Life is a party and it is meant to be enjoyed.” And, “Life is a game to be played hard and won victoriously.” Fire people exist to be joyful and not apologize for it.
As Sagittarius walked down the path, he speculated on which of them should be the King of the People of Fire. Before long, he met his brothers Leo and Aries, both of whom were in a losing battle over which he was supposed to be the true King of the People of Fire. Sagittarius had to stay there and move up and down on his head. Will these two ever find out?
Leo said, “I am the king! I have luxury, resources, and understand more about pampering our people and making them happy. They will worship me as their monarch!”
Aries replied, “Stubborn fool! I am the King of the Fire People! I was the first born and I am more original and more innovative than you. I am always the first to have new thoughts.” , the first to try new things and the first to lead us into a new era. Never be the first to do something!
As the two argued and clashed, Sagittarius interrupted, “You are both brave fighters and quite capable of leading our people. For my part, I will be away on a trip for quite some time, and while I think I am wiser and more informed than he together, I would be very happy.” more willing to continue traveling. As Sagittarius continued on his journey, he had a meeting with Capricorn, Libra and Scorpio, who were on their way to the first meeting of the High Council. When Capricorn, Libra, and Scorpio met Leo and Aries, it was exactly as Sagittarius had said. Capricorn tried to persuade the two to settle down and act like royalty. He considered that they were both being very amateurish. Bullied Scorpio to get into the fight and flog them both in case they don’t come to some kind of agreement between them. Libra made an effort to intervene. Neither of them would bow to the other.
Libra liked Aries and hoped to marry him the day before. Aries had the same feeling about her. Finally, she Libra told Aries, “I’ll let you go in my place if you give your word to represent the People of the Air and not be disloyal to us.” Aries agreed and secretly made sure to let Libra co-rule with him. She had faith in him and he understood that she must not disturb her confidence for the reason that if she ever lost her faith, she would take her rightful position as King of the People of the Air and then he would have to withdraw from the throne. (Yes, they eventually got married and lived happily ever after.)
