The Pick Up is one of the new quests in The Secret World for patch 1.1. It’s a stealth mission and it can be a bit tricky, so I’ve decided to write a tutorial for the mission.

Before you read on, make sure you’re ready for some spoilers, because if you want to figure it out yourself, this tutorial will mess it up, so make sure you need a tutorial first.

You will pick this up from Che Garcia Hansson, who you will meet at the Hippie Camp in Kingsmouth.

You’ll also need to complete Rolls Downhill first, which you can pick up from the same guy.

It’s pretty straight forward until you get to Level 2 and then you’ll have to do some stealth work.

You just have to make sure to stay close to the left wall and avoid the cameras. Just time the cameras and stay as close to the left wall as you can and you should be fine.

Next, you will need to use the safety net to neutralize the intruders.

You need to click on the power grid box and by doing so you will see the weak laser move towards the guards. If you click this 3 or 4 times, you will have moved it far enough for the guards to get into it.

Next, you must choose a door and you must choose the middle one; I have no idea if this is random, so you might have a mob to fight.

You will now need to cross the security grid again; this will require some thought, as you’ll need to zoom in on the grid and find the path where electricity doesn’t conduct in order to plot your course.

You will then need to disable the security system and you will have 4 levers on the wall. This again could be random so you’ll need to try combinations, but this sequence worked for me.

First lever: Down

Second lever: up

Third Lever: Down

Fourth Lever: Up

Once you’ve disabled the security system, you’ll need to exit through the maintenance tunnels.

Exit the room and turn left and you’ll see a laser grid, but you’ll notice a gap here that you’ll need to get through quickly.

Once you have done this, you will have completed ‘The Pick Up’ in The Secret World.
