CrossFit exercise early in the morning

If your CrossFit workout isn’t part of your first hour of the day, you’re missing out on a ton of benefits. Even if you prefer a later exercise program, work out the first 30 to 45 minutes of your day and watch your health and productivity explode!

A morning workout routine and a healthy meal will take not only your CrossFit program, but your entire life to the next level! There’s a reason the gym opens early in the morning. Exercising first thing in the morning, followed by a good shake or a light breakfast may be the best thing you can do to switch up your production. It will allow you to open up your schedule and rev up your metabolism and energy for the day.

Many have tried morning training, only to see it fade and be over in a matter of days or weeks. Kids, work, cold weather, etc. all seem to get in the way. A lot of people seem to think that morning workouts are only for those who “don’t have a life” or have a “better schedule.”

It’s true that there are some people who just can’t get to the CrossFit gym first thing in the morning. They may have difficult commitments, like kids at home or a gym that doesn’t open as early.

Well, there are options for those who definitely don’t have the opportunity to hit the gym first thing in the morning. You won’t believe how your day can change by waking up a little earlier and doing 20 minutes of “moving” before anything else. This can be an activity like taking a short walk or light calisthenics. I know how tough of a CrossFit athlete you are, so before you say this won’t do anything for you, just remember that it adds to your post workout. This suggestion is for those who definitely can’t get out to the gym in the early morning.

If your home life and gym hours allow it, but you’re not going to work out first thing in the morning, you’re doing yourself a disservice. We’ve all heard of Willpower and Habits. These are some of the things that set the CrossFit participant apart from the average athlete.

Having the willpower to start this morning ritual is necessary to create change like the one we are talking about. Without him, his new program will wither and die on the vine. As with any new resolution, the first few days are filled with optimism and energy. After a few days or weeks, obstacles arise and the likelihood of spreading your new habit decreases considerably. This is when you need to continue using your willpower to persevere, knowing that in 4-5 weeks this new habit will become a natural part of your day and your mind will not fight it.

Try the morning ritual and I guarantee you will never go back. You will find that your production and overall health will skyrocket!
