Full of “rules” – our lovely brainwashed society

What are “Brulas”?

Rules = BS rules

Today, there are many different types of “rules” that society has used to brainwash us. Some common “burns” include:

  • University degree is required
  • After you get a degree, you need to go out and find a good paying job or else you’re screwed
  • Time is money (What?! Is this a rule too? I’ll get to this very soon. Read on.)
  • The pursuit of money is inherently evil

This list is non-exhaustive.

Let’s reflect. Did your parents and teachers tell you to study hard and get a college degree? After that, did they and society push you to find a job, the higher the salary the better? Are you currently stuck in a job that you don’t necessarily like at all? Are you pressured by all the bills that arrive each month?

All of this happened because society has repeatedly asked us to follow this path, generation after generation. Are you sure college degrees are required? If so, how did Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Walt Disney, Bill Gates, Richard Branson… and so many famous college dropouts come about? I must admit that these people are talented in one way or another. But what about you? We all have talent in certain areas. The only difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is their level of perseverance and resilience.

The achievement seems to be connected with the action. Successful men and women keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don’t give up.
-Conrad Hilton

So don’t be afraid to follow your own intuition and go ahead and pursue your interest. College education is like a tool for you to do something. For example, if you want to start a business, a college education can equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter this area. Please don’t go to college because society says you have to have a college degree in order to get a job to make a living for…

Let’s move on to the next “burn”. We were all taught from a young age that time is money, so don’t waste time. Let me tell you this is bullshit. Time is money because people always spend their precious time working for money. Just like part time jobs or any other normal job where you earn money based on the time you spend working. In this way, the more time you dedicate to your work, the more you will earn. This is the “employee mindset.” If you separate time from money, you can live a life where you don’t need to rush for time, work for time, and work for others. This happens when you can escape the rat race and build passive income streams. Your money will flow automatically and you can enjoy your life without the need to compete with time. This is totally possible nowadays for anyone to achieve as you can do it as long as you have a laptop and internet connection. There are many ways to build wealth without sacrificing time. What I would recommend is the Lifestyle Laptop. You can earn money while you sleep or enjoy your life. So be sure to separate time from money in your dictionary! This is really important. Don’t be fooled by society anymore.

In today’s society, we have embarrassed the pursuit of money. Many people consider the pursuit of money to be a bad attitude. This is probably because there are people who make money at the expense of the quality of the product or at the expense of other parties involved. But honestly, who doesn’t want to make money and get rich? There is nothing wrong with looking for money as long as you earn money in a decent and legal way. What’s wrong with making money? The most important thing is that you do not sacrifice the quality of your product and the well-being of the customer. With quality products and services, you will be able to earn much more money in the long run.

So, don’t be limited by “burnouts” and don’t let society brainwash us any further. There are many more mentalities that society has embedded in us. Have an open mind and follow your intuition. Try to find out the rules that limit you in life and make improvements to them that will lead you to a better life.

Let me end with a quote from Steve Jobs,

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t let the noise of other people’s opinions drown out your inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

All the best for your success!
