Get 9 doodle games for the price of 1 iPhone app

Doodle Games 9 in 1 has become one of the most popular free apps for iPhone. One of the features that makes this app unique is that it is not just one big game but several small playable games bundled into one package. This alone makes the app worth considering, as perhaps the main drawback of most apps is their limited replay values. Once you get tired of a game, it’s hard to go back and keep playing. Doodle Games 9 in 1 counters this by offering several games that are great fun in their own right for the price of one. Games included are Rope n Swing, Fireworks, Spring jump, Down the rabbit hole, Rise above, Animals on a rampage, Roll to the goal, Grab ‘m all and Aim n pop.

First off, the controls vary slightly from game to game, but the essential controls are easy to understand and it won’t take most people more than a few minutes to figure out most of the controls in each game. There are some special moves that require more coordination to master, but overall, the minigames included with the app were designed with the iPhone in mind, which is appreciated.

From the beginning, one of the appreciated features of Doodle Games 9 in 1 is easy and hard modes. Most games are designed with levels that get progressively more difficult, which means that there really isn’t an end point to reach where you can say the game is complete. That said, it’s still fun to have two different challenge modes, as sometimes you’ll want to make things a bit more difficult without having to play three or four levels, and the challenge feature makes that possible.

It’s hard to say which included game is the best, as each one offers advantages and disadvantages that make them fun but sometimes repetitive. In Rope n swing, you will find that the game is easier if you stick to the provided friends and swing quickly. Timing is important in this game, because if you let go of the rope too late, you will have to start over and over again. With Fireworks, your goal is to aim your missiles before your targets hit the ground. The touch screen is useful here as a fun way to launch your missiles. It’s not obvious from the start, but the missiles won’t just cause explosions near the targets you’re aiming at. If there are other targets within range, they will also explode. The game can quickly become addictive, although the downside to its ease is that it can become laborious and eventually boring. In Spring jump, you progress by jumping on springs, and a quick tip for success is to increase your incline to jump further. The rest of the games are similar in that slight angle changes will make them much easier to traverse. Rolling towards the finish line can create a lot of fingerprints on the touch screen, but many of the games are similar in this regard. In general, they are fun to play and enjoyable, at least for a while.
