IPad Insurance – UK Providers

There are quite a few companies in the UK that offer iPad insurance. However, not all companies offer all types of iPad or device cases at a reasonable price.

In this post, I’ll show three of the UK’s most reputable device insurance companies, what they will cover your iPad for and what the average policy price would be. So if you reside in the UK and want to get an insurance policy for your iPad, this post should be helpful.

Protect your bubble

By insuring your iPad with Protect Your Bubble, you will benefit from accidental damage coverage, which also includes water damage and cracked screens. This company also insures theft and mechanical breakdown when it comes to iPads, and the insurance is fully functional worldwide.

In the event of a successful claim, your iPad will be replaced within 48 hours. In addition, in case you own several devices, you can insure them all under the same policy and, of course, you will benefit from a discount.

One of the beautiful parts of this company is that they accept various types of payment, including PayPal. I only pay my monthly premiums through PayPal.

Unfortunately, with PYB you will not benefit from the accessory cover. However, most companies that offer this type of coverage consider that a certain accessory is part of your iPad. Therefore, you will only benefit from the insurance for your iPad accessory, if that particular accessory is damaged by the same factor that your iPad was damaged.

For an iPad priced between £ 500 and £ 700, the monthly premium price with PYB iPad insurance is £ 4.88.

Gadget cover

With Gadget Cover, you are also covered for the most important damages that can happen to your iPad. Theft, accidental damage (including liquid damage), technical breakdown (in case the warranty has expired), and you will also be covered worldwide. You can add loss coverage to this entire package, but this will add an additional £ 1 to your monthly premium.

So for an iPad between £ 500 and £ 700, your monthly premium will be £ 5.99 or £ 6.99 if you also opt for loss coverage. However, you will benefit from a free month.

Safe 2 Go

With Insurance 2 Go, your iPad will be insured for theft, accidents, water and fire damage, worldwide coverage for up to 30 days. They also offer an accessory case for up to £ 150. Plus, should your iPad be damaged or stolen while in the possession of your immediate family (over 18s), you will also benefit from your insurance.

For an iPad of a similar value to the one I mentioned above, your monthly premium with Insurance 2 Go should also be around £ 5.

Now please note that I am not explicitly recommending any of the UK device insurance providers here, although I have insured my iPad through Protect Your Bubble. But, in case you want to find an insurance provider for your iPad or other devices, you can start with these three. They all offer pretty good policies at acceptable prices.
