Love your list and your list will love you.

You may have heard the saying often in internet marketing circles: The money is in the list. I am not going to argue with this, it is as true today as it has ever been.

In fact, I would go as far as to say that the most important thing for anyone new to the world of internet marketing to do is start building an email list as soon as possible.

In fact, the vast majority of any internet marketer’s time is spent growing their list. But unless you spend some time taking care of the existing customers on your list, everything you’ve invested will be wasted.

If I could give one piece of advice to anyone new to Internet marketing, it would be “Love your list.”

Unfortunately, most people who venture into internet marketing make a big mistake. They are so focused on getting as much profit from their list as possible that they forget they are dealing with real people.

This approach can work well in the short term and could even give you a nice starting income. However, you will eventually lose the trust of the people on your list and they will stop responding.

In this way, you will have to spend time and money to replace the customers you constantly lose.

Trust me, you’ll have better things to do with your time than constantly replacing people who leave your list due to neglect.

These are real people!

You need to understand that behind every email address you collect is a real person. Someone who has shown an interest in what you have to offer. They have trusted you enough to give you their name and email address. A conscious decision was made to take the time and respond to it. They may have even downloaded one of your products or possibly made a purchase from you.

So you have to remember that these are real people with real dreams and real feelings. You’ll find that if you treat them as such, if you show your human side, you’ll be in this business for the long haul instead of just being a flash in the pan.

When you get a new subscriber, don’t push yourself to sell, sell, sell. Because if you’re constantly harassing people with sales emails, you’ll lose more people than you’ll retain. If this has been your focus so far, you need stop now. This method has been a tactic of Internet marketers for so long that it no longer works. People these days just won’t put up with that kind of hard sell.

Think about the times you subscribed to someone’s list. It was probably because they had a free offer that got you interested, right? Now, when he gave them his email address, she knew it wouldn’t be the last she’d hear from them. You know that at some point they are going to try to sell you one thing or another.

If they take the hard-sell approach and keep pestering you with sales emails, chances are you’ll unsubscribe from your list. However, they are sending you useful information. Either they give you free training or great advice, you’re more inclined to read your sales emails when they inevitably arrive.

Remember that it takes a lot more time, effort, and money to get a new subscriber than it does to keep your existing list happy and interested.

People will stay on your list if you give them great content for FREE. The longer they are on your list, the better chance you have of earning their trust. The more they trust you, the more likely they are to become paying customers. They are more likely to recommend you if they think what you are offering is useful and valuable.

These people on your list can be your best form of promotion…

You can tell people how cool you are. You can tell them what a wonderful product you are selling. They may or may not believe you, they may or may not buy from you. But if someone totally unrelated to you gives you the go-ahead… that’s a very powerful thing.

There is nothing better for you or your brand than the endorsement of one of your clients.

that’s why i say I love your list.

If you put the time, effort, and love into your existing customers, it will pay off in the long run. Not only will you have to spend less time replacing the customers you’re losing. You are more likely to have a growing list of people willing to become paying customers.

When you’re just starting out, building an email list can seem like the hardest thing in the world. Getting complete strangers to trust you enough to join your list can really take a lot of time and effort. So doesn’t it make sense to make sure all the work you’ve put in to get subscribers doesn’t go to waste?

In conclusion

Remember! It’s extremely important to keep growing your list, but it’s equally important to take care of your existing subscribers. After all, you don’t want the effort you’re putting into growing your list to end up being largely to replace the people you’re losing.

Once you start building your list, be sure to spend some time connecting with those people. Email them AT LEAST once a week. Make him feel wanted, valued and loved. Send them free content, help, tips and advice. Offer them free training, but make sure it’s the entire course that delivers what it promises.

Whose give away 80% of something and then ask people to pay the final 20%. This is a safe way to get people to search for the unsubscribe button.

In short, if you love your list, your list will love you.
