Products to sell on eBay

There are millions of items up for auction on eBay at any given time. It’s really amazing that you can find almost anything. Where do all these things come from? There are several different sources that a seller can use to obtain many items to sell on eBay. In this article I will go over different fonts and also include the pros and cons of each. The most important thing to consider is how much time you have to invest and your comfort level with a particular font.

Garage sales: Garage sales are a great place to find good-priced items to resell. It’s almost like a treasure hunt because you never know what you’re going to find. The downside of garage sales is that you may have to do a lot of shopping to find what you’re looking for, or “main load.” Personally, I can’t resist stopping at a good garage sale.

Thrift Stores: Thrift stores are similar to garage sales. You can find many good deals, but you may have trouble finding a number of “gems” to sell. I suggest using garage sales and thrift stores together.

Estate Sales: These are great. You can find many quality items. The trick is to watch the newspapers close and make sure you bring enough money for high-end items that you can sell for even more. If you live in a small community, you may have to drive a bit to take advantage of home sales.

Small Business – I suggest you approach small business owners and offer to sell their surplus on eBay. If you get several of these it would be very good for you. About 25% of sales is close to the amount you should be charging for your service. Make sure you come to an agreement, especially in regards to the owner not selling anything he is listing. It is better if you have the items in your possession. The drawback to this is that you have to keep the number of customers high and risk your feedback if the owner sells the item you listed or changes their mind.

Drop Shipping – The great thing about drop shipping is that you don’t have to keep inventory. When you make a sale, you simply contact the drop shipper, pay them their cost, and they ship the product to your customer. The bad thing about drop shipping is that you depend on someone else to ship your customers on time. You are also selling something that is not in your possession. This could be risky for your feedback if the item has to be reordered or is suddenly discontinued.

Bulk/Lots: If you have enough money to buy a lot or a large quantity of your product, you’re on your way. With this you will have to make sure you have space to store a large amount of merchandise. You also have to be confident that they will continue to sell and not die in the middle. There are online sources that you can use to find items in bulk. Use a search engine using the words; wholesale, surplus, bulk, lots, you get the idea. Suppose you are looking for a number of combs, type in the search box bulk Y combs, or another keyword that goes with combs. Make sure the word “and” is capitalized.

eBay: What? Yes, you can find things to sell on eBay on eBay. Look through the items in the bundle and if you can find a good deal on good items, you can buy them and then sell them separately. You can also keep an eye on items you know about and possibly snatch something for a low price and resell it. This technique requires patience and time. The “big” deal doesn’t come every day.

Family/Friends/Coworkers This is where you sell items on eBay for people you know, and they tell people they know, and so on. Sometimes it can be hard to sell for the people you know. They may want to take advantage of you and try to reduce their share of the sales.

The best source is one that you can feel good about and is trustworthy. If one font makes you uncomfortable, try another. There is no reason why you should stick to one source. Spread out a bit and see what you can find. You may be able to find something that will make other sellers green with envy.
