I find it fascinating (in a kind of social experiment) the fanatical, er, passionate reactions I got from my FB “friends” when I posted President-elect Joe Biden’s “political tricks” on stimulus checks. I deliberately posted the comment on January 15th (MLK’s birthday). Why? MLK was a fierce advocate for Universal Basic Income (UBI) during his lifetime. In other words, we should be getting at least 2K per month during the pandemic instead of the proposed 2K for a single year. Interestingly, other OECD countries are giving their citizens up to 7K per month in UBI. As of December, Australian citizens have earned 24K since their pandemic in accumulated UBI.

If you think in pennies, you get pennies! If you think in dollars, you get dollars!

Let’s not settle for penny wine, nickel wine, and dime wine. On the contrary, we go for the wine dollar! Don’t settle for a little change! Don’t sell yourself cheap! Don’t settle for less!

What would MLK have done?

He would advocate for a UBI as he fervently did during his lifetime.

That said, get on the backs of Biden and the Democrats to live up to the MLK dream in action, not just words.

And for those of you who continue to call me a tight Republican, I have raised and donated over $1K (documented/public record) to the Biden-Harris ticket. So I put my money where my mouth is… And I will stand on your case the same way other interest groups stand on your case.

Yes, Biden-Harris and the Democrats can do more for the dying and suffering American people in the same way that MLK held JFK and LBJ accountable during his lifetime. And for his actions, he paid with his life.

I’m not MLK, but I won’t bow down. I won’t break I’ll never back down I will never, ever give in to my fellow Democrats (Blue MAGA) by highlighting Democrat “politricks.”

The squeaker wheel gets the most oil.

MLK went up against LBJ even after the latter had made his way into the Great Society. Unfortunately, nefarious forces killed MLK on the eve of his Long March on Washington, DC. He planned for both blacks and poor whites to march with him. And one of the plans for the Long March was UBI.
