Uses of vinegar in the jacuzzi

Soaking in a hot tub, especially when it’s cold outside, feels relaxing and rejuvenating. Using a regular household product is a unique way to further enhance the experience without spending extra money. Try some vinegar to spice up the tub.

Apple cider vinegar isn’t just for cooking anymore. Adding a few cups of apple cider vinegar to a hot tub will help soothe sore muscles. This hydrotherapeutic method will not harm the hot tub, although it will take time for the filters to effectively remove the vinegar from the water. Remember that when soaking to soothe sore muscles or to loosen tight muscles, it should not be used for the first 24 hours after injury. An apple cider vinegar soak in a hot tub can help stop itchy skin related to allergies or other dermatitis, as well as help relieve the heat of a sunburn.

In addition to cleansing and relaxing muscles, vinegar can be used to lower the pH level of water. Normal pH should be between 7.2 and 7.6.
